Honda Classic Tip: Scott Piercy

Scott Piercy is a three-time winner on the PGA Tour; he knows how to get over the line and is playing well enough to suggest he could add another title to his CV. The 39-year-old is 6/7 in cuts made this season and has gone 25-6-MC-20 since the turn of the year.

The Las Vegan has gone well at the Honda before finishing fifth on debut in 2009 and making 3/5 cuts at PGA National.

In the mould of past champions his strength is tee-to-green; currently ranked 15th in strokes gained, he is also long.
