Honda Classic: John Huh
Is 7/8 in cuts made since returning from injury with half of them being top-25s. His underlying ball-striking numbers are up there with his 2012 peak and he is 5/8 in cuts made at PGA National.
John Huh suffered an injury disrupted 2020 but he’s been solid having played on a Major Medical exemption. Since his return to golf he is 7/8 in cuts made with half of them being top-25 finishes.
His good form is backed up with impressive underlying numbers. He is 27th in strokes gained tee-to-green this season and 32nd in adjusting scoring average. These are his best ball-striking numbers since when he was ranked inside the world’s top 100 almost ten years ago.
Huh’s record at the Honda Classic is 36-MC-17-14-MC-24-59-MC and his sole PGA Tour win came at the Mayakoba Classic, so he won’t be troubled by any wind. At a triple figure price he could go well.
