Frys.com Open Tips: Scott Langley
Finished T26-T27-T12-T30-T65 in his last five stroke-play events and can carry his good form into the new season.
The Frys.com Open heralds the start of a new PGA Tour season but it is less than a month since the old one finished therefore it might pay to stick with form players.
Scott Langley enjoyed a successful season on tour, one that improved as the year progressed.
The 25-year-old finished T26-T27-T12-T30-T65 in his last five stroke-play tournaments and was gearing up to challenge for his first title.
An excellent putter, he won’t be disadvantaged if the tournament descends into a putting competition and his lack of length off the tee shouldn’t be an issue on a par-72 course measuring 7,203 yards.
Langley is a cracking each-way bet at 80/1 (Boylesports) with ¼ odds for a top-5 finish.
