European Masters Tips: Ross Fisher
Finished T5 last year but it was an opportunity missed. Ranked first for GIRs but 60th in putts per GIR.
As a 5-time winner on tour Ross Fisher doesn’t hide many secrets from the bookmakers but he’s worth an investment purely on what he achieved here last year.
The 33-year-old finished T5 but it could have been so much better. Fisher ranked first for GIRs, hitting 83.3% of greens, but unfortunately he couldn’t put the ball in the hole and ranked 60th in putts per GIR.
A T7 last week in Turin was his best finish for a couple of months and if his ball striking is of the same standard as last year, he should go close at 40/1 (William Hill).
