Rory Can Finish On A High
Rory McIlroy has five top-5s at this tournament and his power off the tee is a big advantage.
Since Rory McIlroy returned from injury he has threatened to win several tournaments but one lacklustre round has scuppered his chances at both the Turkish Airlines Open and HSBC Champions.
Tee-to-green his game is in excellent shape and the Earth course at Jumeirah Golf Estates plays to his strengths. McIlroy is perhaps the best driver in world golf and that is a huge advantage on the onerous 7,675-yard course.
His record at this event reads 3-5-11-1-5-2 and at 5/1 (Ladbrokes) we should get at least an each-way return with ¼ odds for a top-5 finish.
