DP World Tour Tips: Romain Wattel
Recent form reads T11-T9-T5-MC-T4-T6-T11 and played well in the desert earlier in the year.
With seven top-11 finishes in his last eight starts, there are no indications that Romain Wattel’s purple patch is going to end any time soon.
The Frenchman is ranked fourth on tour in scoring average and there is no way he should be 45/1 (Bet365).
The 23-year-old has the power to tame the Earth Course and was on for a top-10 finish in 2012; until a poor final round dropped him to twenty-first.
Still searching for his first tour win, he won’t be short of motivation and has good form in the desert. He finished T11 and T3 in Qatar and Dubai respectively at the start of the year.
