DP World Tour Tip: Kiradech Aphibarnrat
Started 2017 with a pair of top-10s in the desert and is finishing the year strongly. Ranked in the top-30 on tour for putting, GIRs and scoring average.
Kiradech Aphibarnrat has enjoyed a strong finish to the season and should be winning again very soon. The DP World Tour is a big event but there’s no obvious winner and the Thai player has the skills in the desert.
Aphibarnrat started the year with top-10 finishes in Abu Dhabi and Qatar and he can book end his season with another big win. Top six finishes in the Italian Open and Turkish Open suggest he arrives in Dubai in good form and his course record isn’t too bad with finishes of 29-22-35.
Last year he ranked 7th for GIRs but lost shots on the greens (ranked 51st in putts per GIR). If the putter heats up he could get in the mix at 55/1.
