DP World Tour Championship Tip: Rory McIlroy

DP World Tour Championship Tip: Rory McIlroy

The Earth Course is perfect for McIlory, he’s a two-time winner and only once in seven starts has he finished outside the top-5.

Winning the Race To Dubai is almost certainly beyond Rory McIlroy but victory in the DP World Tour Championship will mean he finishes the year ranked number one in the world and that is a huge incentive.

The monstrous Earth Course is ideally suited to McIlroy with his length off the tee and his record at the course is impressive. He averages 68.1 per round and has finished 3-5-11-1-5-2-1 in seven visits.

The 27-year-old has sat out the Final Series up until now but his form has been very good. He won the Tour Championship, excelled at the Ryder Cup and finished T4 at the HSBC Champions.

He is the best player in the field and although short at 3/1, an each-way bet with 5 places at ¼ odds should cover most of our losses were he to place only.
