DP World Tour Championship: Sam Horsfield

Ball-striking as good as it's been all season and putter still working well. Seems to have found extra distance off the tee and shown glimpses of form on this course. T14 here in 2012.

Ranked second on tour for strokes gained tee-to-green and already a winner this season. His length is a big advantage on the Earth Course and capable of handling the elite opposition.

Shot rounds of 72-71-68-65 on debut at this event two years ago. Recent form is poor but the course could spark a revival. Enjoyed a terrific first half to the season.

Started 2017 with a pair of top-10s in the desert and is finishing the year strongly. Ranked in the top-30 on tour for putting, GIRs and scoring average.

The Earth Course is perfect for McIlory, he’s a two-time winner and only once in seven starts has he finished outside the top-5.
