Marino To Break His Duck
Fifth in the tour’s all-around ranking and hasn’t missed a cut since late March.
Steve Marino doesn’t do winning on the PGA Tour (0-173 starts) and although he’s hardly prolific on the Web.com (0-47) he’s registered almost as many top-10 finishes (17) from a quarter of the starts.
It’s been another consistent year for Marino, who has not missed a cut since the end of March and has a string of top-20s since then.
Last week he finished T18 in Utah but sandwiched between two ugly 74s were excellent rounds of 63-67.
The 35-year-old is 18th on the money list but isn’t assured of his tour card and a good week in Kansas would be a big help.
Ranked fifth in the tour’s all-around metric, he’s got the game and is a good each-way price at 60/1 (Coral).
