Deutsche Bank Golf Tips: Adam Scott

Has four top-10 finishes in seven visits to TPC Boston and keen to finish the season on a high.

TPC Boston has hosted the Deutsche Bank since its inception in 2003 and not many people have a better course record than Adam Scott. Winner of the inaugural event, his record at the course is: 1-T2-T50-T17-73-T5-T8.

The halfway leader last year, an inconsistent final nine holes saw him make four bogeys and a double, costing him a chance of victory. He still finished T8, proving that even when he goes off the boil, he still plays the course better than most.

Unfortunately, the 2012 season will be remembered for his Open Championship capitulation, rather than for his excellent golf. However, the talented Australian is quite a phlegmatic character and has the ability to bounce back.

He finished T11 at the USPGA Championship at the start of August suggesting he hasn’t given up on the season quite yet. He will be keen to finish the year on a high and a return to one of his favourite courses should see him go close at 25/1 (Paddy Power), with ¼ odds for a top-5 finish as insurance.
