Deutsche Bank Championship Tips: Adam Scott

Has five top-10s at TPC Boston, including a win. Hasn’t finished outside the top-15 in his last seven starts on the PGA Tour.

Rory McIlory has rightly taken all the plaudits in the last couple of months but I don’t think there’s much between him and Adam Scott at the top of the world game. Certainly not to the extent the bookmakers have them priced.

The Australian is almost three-times the price of McIlroy to win the Deutsche Bank Championship but his claims are equally strong.

Scott has five top-10 finishes in nine starts at TPC Boston and won the event back in 2003.

The 34-year-old also arrives in fine form. He’s not finished outside the top-15 in his last seven tournaments and has broken 70 in 13 of his last 16 competitive rounds.

Those kind of numbers make him a rock solid each-way bet at 12/1 (Boylesports) with ¼ odds for a top-5 finish.
