Czech Masters: Chris Paisley

Czech Masters: Chris Paisley

Finished T38-T13-T9 on last three starts and been one of the best putters on tour for the past two seasons.

Chris Paisley is in a race to save his tour card but after a quiet start to the season he is really motoring.

The Englishman only made three of his first ten cuts but is currently 5/6 with consecutive top-15 finishes in Scotland at the Scottish Open and Paul Lawrie Match Play.

The 30-year-old has a moderate record of MC-T40 at the Czech Masters but in six rounds he’s only shot over par once and the Albatross Course should suit his game.

If you look at past leaderboards good putters like Jamie Donaldson, Bradley Dredge and Soren Kjeldsen have come to the fore and Paisley falls into that category. For the past two seasons he has ranked inside the top-30 in putts per GIR and the flat stick is his friend.

At 125/1 (Betfred) he is a cracking each-way bet with ¼ odds for a top-5 finish.
