Czech Masters: Alexander Bjork
Tenth on tour for scoring average and showed up well with a T3 at the Open de France. Capable of breaking through at this level.
Last week proved that Challenge Tour players are quite capable of making the step up in grade and winning on the European Tour and hopefully Alexander Bjork can repeat the feat at the Czech Masters.
The young Swede won Le Vaudreuil Golf Challenge last year, finished seventh on the money list and has kept the momentum going in 2017. A T3 at the Open De France in a good field on a tough course was a fine result and although he’s not cracked the top-30 since, he’s still made cuts including a T31 last week in Denmark.
Currently ranked tenth on tour for scoring average he deserves to be a bit higher in the better. Last year he finished T4 across the border in the D&D REAL Slovakia Challenge, perhaps he can show everyone he is the real deal in the Czech Republic.
