Jaeger Meister

Finished T11 here in 2016 and was only a shot off the lead entering the final round. Struggled a bit on the PGA Tour of late but this is much easier.

Stephan Jaeger’s results have tailed off lately on the PGA Tour with four missed cuts in six starts but the competition has got stiffer and he’s played on some tricky courses. The good news is he made the weekend at the Valspar Championship and he’s the sort of player who can turn it on in lesser company.

Most famous for shooting a 58 on the Web.com, the world number 287 also knows how to close tournaments, winning three times in the last two years.

The 28-year-old has played some good golf during the wraparound season, including leading the GIR stats at the RSM Classic and hitting 18/18 of greens in the third round.

Jaeger missed the cut at the Corales Golf Club last year when the tournament was on the Web.com Tour but he finished T11 in 2016 and should have finished higher having entered the final round in third place, just one shot off the lead.
