Playing The Blaum Game

Colombia Championship Tips: Conditions Suit Blaum

Ryan Blaum finished T11 last week and has a good record in this part of the world with two wins on the LatinoAmerica Tour in 2013.

Ryan Blaum made a fast start to the season with a T11 in Panama and Central America has been kind to him; he finished T29 at Mayakoba (Mexico) on the PGA Tour in November.

Back in 2013, Blaum won twice on the LatinoAmerica Tour with victories at the Brazil and Dominican Republic Open so this part of the world obviously suits him.

In 2014, he finished T29 at the rain-affected Colombia Championship shooting rounds of 71-69-69 before the tournament was cut short.

With a game built around accuracy and putting, the strategic courses in Latin America suit his game. If Blaum is to make an impact on the money-list standings he needs a fast start to the season and at 80/1 (Be365) is a good each-way bet.
