Finished T48 in Scotland but was on the wrong side of the draw. Given another chance considering his good form and short hitters have won at this venue before.
Ashley Chesters finished a never nearer T48 last week in Scotland but his late/early tee time meant he was on the wrong side of the draw and his performance deserves upgrading. That’s now finishes of 18-15-48 in his last three and the Englishman is playing well.
The London Club might look like a bit of a beast on paper but Christian Cevaer nudged it round here to win the 2009 European Open and it shows that modest hitters, like Chesters, can win on this layout.
Despite a solid showing against a significant draw bias, we are able to squeeze an extra 30 points on his price compared to last week.
