Chad Collins is the classic journeyman golfer, eking out a good living but bouncing between the Web.com and PGA Tour without ever making an impact – until now.

His missed cut at the John Deere Classic was the first time he failed to make the weekend since the Texas Open in March. Collins is arguably playing the best golf of his career and only three weeks ago he finished T6 at the Greenbrier.

The 36-year-old plots his way around courses and Glen Abbey should be the ideal test, in 2013 it ranked 4th lowest in fairways hit.

Chad Collins is currently ranked 43rd in adjusted scoring average but is outside the top-70 in the betting; that makes him a cracking each-way bet at 200/1 (Coral).
