Canadian Open Tips: Sean O’Hair

Previous winner of the Canadian Open and finished third at Glen Abbey in 2008.

Sean O’Hair last tour win came at the Canadian Open at Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club in 2011 and although the tournament moves to a different venue this year it should bring back happy memories.

The 34-year-old finished third at Glen Abbey in 2008 and although he missed the cut last year he signed for a final round 68.

Unlike many of his peers, O’Hair has enjoyed a bit of a break with his last start coming at the Quicken Loans National at the end of June. Prior to that brief hiatus he had made 5/6 cuts and wasn’t struggling for form.

Ranked 12th on tour in par-4 scoring average he has been playing well all season and a return to Canada could be the spark he needs to get his fifth tour win. At 150/1 (Paddy Power) he is a good each-way bet with 1/5 odds for a top-7 finish.
