Canadian Open Tips: Robert Streb

Should play the par-70 course well considering he is ranked fifth for par-4 performance.

I first highlighted Robert Streb as a betting proposition at the Travelers Championship a month ago. Since then he has finished MC-74-71-T37 but he’s not a player to give up on yet.

The 27-year-old has only missed two cuts all year and his length off the tee makes him a danger at almost every tournament.

The former Kansas State golfer ranks 47th for adjusted scoring average and 5th for par 4 performance, which suggests there is more to his game than simply bombing it off the tee.

With players possibly feeling the effects of the Open Championship, he could sneak under the radar and bag a first tour win at 150/1 (William Hill).
