31st May 2015 | Byron Nelson
Home Comforts For Spieth
Finished T16-T32 in this event as an amateur and would dearly love to win his ‘home’ tournament.
Jordan Spieth seems to have quickly got over his hiccup in form with a T2 at Colonial last week and is a worthy favourite in Dallas.
The Byron Nelson is a home event for Spieth and one he desperately wants to do well at.
The tournament gave him his first start on the PGA Tour, when he finished T16 in 2010 as an amateur. He then returned in 2011 and again made the cut finishing T32.
Since turning professional he has been unable to match those results but the 2015 version of Jordan Spieth is something special.
He is the most likely winner and 5/1 (Stan James) is a fair price.
