Byron Nelson Tips: Robert Garrigus
Has finished T16-T26-T20-T9-MC in the last five editions of the Byron Nelson and has enjoyed some good results this season.
Robert Garrigus isn’t the easiest golfer to predict; just look at his form coming into the Bryon Nelson: T4-MC-T61-73-T5-MC.
There is a chance I get on the wrong side of that run but at 80/1 (Bet365) he is worth the risk.
Garrigus fits the profile of recent winners in that he can bomb it off the tee and his course record is good, with four top-30 finishes in the last five years.
One tour win is a meagre return for a player of his talents but he went close on several occasions in 2012, finishing runner-up four times.
Last season was disappointing but he struggled with injury and fit again he is an exciting each-way bet.
