Bryon Nelson Tips: Sung Kang
Has two top-6 finishes in Texas this season and finished T34 here last year.
Si Woo Kim was a surprising winner of The Players Championship last week and perhaps some of the magic can rub off on fellow countryman Sung Kang.
The 29-year-old has hit a bit of form of late with his last five stroke play starts producing finishes of 49-2-11-6-30.
Kang was unable to convert a strong start at the Houston Open into a victory but he’s back in Texas this week having also finish T6 at the Texas Open.
The windy conditions in the Lone Star State seem to suit and he has some course form after last year’s T34. Currently ranked 27th in adjusted scoring average he is a bit better than a quote of 70/1. Back Kang with Paddy Power and get 7 places at 1/5 odds.
