Wiesberger A Tasty Price

Wiesberger A Tasty Price

18-under for his last four rounds at St. Andrews and looked in imperious form when winning the Open de France.

Despite the absence of Rory McIlroy a strong field lines up for the Open Championship and because of the big names we are able to get 75/1 on a winner last time out.

Bernd Wiesberger played magnificently well to win the Open de France reaching 13-under on a tough course. The way he closed out the win, including a mamouth 340+ yard drive on the last hole was hugely encouraging.

The Austrian was in the final pairing of the 2014 US PGA Championship and he is getting accustomed to competing at the top level; a T22 at the Masters was equally encouraging.

Wiesberger has experience of playing St. Andrews having contested the last four Alfred Dunhill Links Championships. He is -18 under for his last four rounds at the course, albeit under a more generous different set up.

At 75/1 (Bet365) he is a good each-way bet with ¼ odds for a top-6 finish.
