British Masters: Eddie Pepperell

Winner of this tournament in 2018 and tends to play his best golf in England. Has started to find form in last fortnight and ranked in top-10 tee-to-green at the Canary Islands Championship.

Eddie Pepperell has been relatively quiet on the European Tour this year but his best tend to come on British soil. Last year his only top-10 finishes of the year came at the Scottish Open and BMW PGA Championship, whilst he is also a past British Masters winner. His form in the event alone is excellent, it reads: 33-22-MC-1-2-47 and he was in contention last year until a poor round on Sunday.

The good news is that Pepperell found some form in the Canary Islands. He ranked in the top-10 for strokes gained tee-to-green at the Canary Islands Championship and made only four bogeys all week. At the Tenerife Championship he putted well but struggled off the tee.

He is trending in the right direction and ff both his long game and putter fire this week then he should go well at the Belfrey. Especially given his record in the UK and particularly in England.
