Brasil Champions Tips: Joel Dahmen
Two top-20s this season and was number 1 on the PGA Tour Canada money list.
Joel Dahmen gained his playing rights by topping the money list on the PGA Tour Canada last season and he has made the step up in grade with ease.
Dahmen has finished T70-T8-T19 in three starts and he could strike soon.
It hasn’t always been plain sailing for the 27-year-old. He lost his mother to pancreatic cancer, his brother was diagnosed with cancer in 2009 and Joel was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2011.
These sort of events add perspective and Dahmen has made the most of his second chance.
He was a two-time winner on tour last year and I doubt he has lost the habit yet. At 50/1 (Stan James) he is a cracking each-way bet.
