BMW International Tips: Johan Carlsson
Found form in the last couple of months and finished sixth at the Lyoness Open. T29 at this venue in 2015.
Johan Carlsson is a frustrating player to follow as he’s prone to some horrible slumps in form. Earlier this season he missed six consecutive cuts but when he finds form he can get on a roll. That seems to have happened recently as his last five starts have yielded finishes of 24-18-58-MC-6.
The BMW International returns to Golfclub München Eichenried this year and that is a positive for Carlsson after his T29 finish in 2015. It was a result that promised so much more, a good opening two rounds spoilt by a 75 on Saturday.
The 30-year-old might be a dicey win proposition but buoyed by his sixth at the Lyoness Open he could threaten a place finish again. Back him at 125/1 with Sky Bet and get 6 places at 1/4 odds.
