BMW Charity Pro-Am: Cheng Tsung Pan

BMW Charity Pro-Am: Cheng Tsung Pan

Won on his fourth start as a professional and led the PGA Tour Canada in birdie average last season.

There is plenty of young talent lurking on the Web.com Tour as we saw with Trey Mullinax’s victory last week and C.T. Pan certainly falls into that category.

A former world amateur number won (in 2013 for 8 weeks), he’s made the seamless transition to professional. He finished T64 at last year’s US Open and then won on only his fourth start as a professional when taking The Players Cup on the PGA Tour Canada.

In just seven starts on the PGA Tour Canada, he won twice, finished second in the Order of Merit and lead the tour for birdie average with a crazy 5.07 birdies per round.

At a tournament where going low is imperative, C.T. Pan looks the perfect player and he arrives in South Carolina in good form. Last week he finished T26 at the Rex Hospital Open and already has two top-10s to his name.

The 24-year-old looks destined for the top and is a good each-way bet at 50/1 (Ladbrokes) in a tournament that should suit his attacking mindset.
