BMW Championship: Jim Furyk

Has nine top-10 finishes this season and his failure to win is overplayed by the media.

The BMW Championship moves to Cherry Hills Country Club for the first time in its history but in terms of tournament form no one betters Jim Furyk.

The 44-year-old has eight top-10 finishes at the event including a win in 2005 when it was known as the Western Open.

Much has been made of Furyk’s inability to win this season but I don’t believe he’s thrown any tournament away; at the Barclays a stacked leaderboard was always going to be difficult to hold off.

At 28/1 (Boylesports), I’m happy to back a player who has finished in the top-10 in almost half the tournaments he’s entered this season.
