Reno-Tahoe Open Tips: James Hahn

Was tenth going into the Sunday of the Canadian Open, recapturing the early season form that helped him record two top-5 finishes.

After a strong start to the season, James Hahn went off the boil but at the Canadian Open he hinted at a return to form.

The 31-year-old was in the top-10 going into Sunday but his challenge unravelled on the front-nine. He eventually finished T40 but he played much better than his final position suggests.

It is difficult to predict who is favoured by the Modified Stableford format used this week, but the scoring system rewards birdies more than it penalises bogeys and that should suit Hahn.

He finished T4 at the Humana Challenge at the start of the season, traditionally a tournament where you need to shoot a very low score and he ranks 38th on tour for par breakers.

At 125/1 (BetVictor) he is a lively each-way bet with ¼ odds for a top-6 finish.

Extra Place – BetVictor
BetVictor are paying ¼ odds for a top-6 finish at the Reno-Tahoe Open.

*150/1 is available with other bookmakers but they are only paying 1/4 odds for a top-5 finish. In this instance I recommend taking the shorter odds for the extra place.
