For a player considered a ‘journeyman’ pro, Johnson Wagner has carved out a good career.
He is a 3-time winner on the PGA Tour and being able to close out a tournament is a big plus in a field where several find it hard to win.
Usually one of the best putters on tour, he’s struggled on the greens slightly this year but has shown signs of improvement in the last couple of months.
In his last five starts he’s finished T57-MC-T26-T7-T34 and with results heading in the right direction he can improve on last year’s tenth place finish. At 40/1 (Bet365) he is a solid each-way bet.
