Bahamas Great Exuma Classic Tip: Michael Putnam

Bahamas Great Exuma Classic Tip: Michael Putnam

Returning from injury but 3-time winner on Web.com Tour and topped the money list in 2013.

Michael Putnam’s results on the PGA last season were horrific but completely excusable because he tore a tendon in his thumb and was out of action for almost six months.

The 33-year-old returned at the Sanderson Farms Championship in late October and finished T35, his best result of 2016.

Despite this setback it sounds like Michael Putnam is raring to go and the Bahamas is an ideal place to start. His record on Seashore Paspalum grass (OHL Classic & Puerto Rico Open) is 35-22-36-MC-51-MC and he also has a couple of top-35 finishes on the seaside at Pebble Beach.

One of the more experienced golfers in the field, he won’t be fazed by conditions and has three Web.com Tour wins under his belt, including topping the money list in 2013. Back fit and healthy he should be winning again soon and is a good bet at 150/1 (BetVictor).
