The Bryce Is Right
An excellent putter who has gone close to winning in recent years with three top-15 finishes.
Opportunities for Bryce Molder to win on tour are limited because he lacks length off the tee but that isn’t a problem at Pebble Beach.
The three courses used for the tournament all measure less than 7,000 yards and the watchword this week is patience. A strategic course combined with the slow-play of a Pro-Am means the gung-ho golfer will get easily frustrated.
Bryce Molder has proved capable of overcoming these challenges. In his last five visits he’s finished MC-T10-T6-T69-T12 and was leading going into the final round in 2011.
The 35-year-old has started the season in reasonable form, with a T29 in Phoenix last week. On a course that suits him much better, he is overpriced at 90/1 (Boylesports).
