Arnold Palmer Tips: Chris Stroud
Ranked 11th for adjusted scoring average this season and his breakthrough win doesn’t look far away.
A fortnight ago we highlighted Chris Stroud as a player to watch out for and his T9 in Puerto Rico strengthens that opinion.
A poor 73 cost him the tournament on the first day but he battled back well, eventually finishing on 15-under.
It has been a similar story all season for Stroud, getting into position but not sealing the deal. He has six top-20 finishes in his last eight starts and it is just a matter of time before a win comes his way.
The 32-year-old has finished T15-T34 on his last two visits to Bay Hill and he is overpriced at 66/1 (Paddy Power) considering his recent form.
