Arnold Palmer Invitational: James Hahn

Tee-to-green game in great shape at the moment. 20th in strokes gained this season and getting better every start. Hasn't missed a cut in last 11 starts.

With two PGA Tour wins and five professional victories from 247 starts, James Hahn has a quietly impressive strike rate. He’s a player who normally epitomises the word ‘streaky’ but there has been an outbreak of consistency to his game.

The 36-year-old hasn’t missed a cut in his last eleven starts and so far in 2017 he’s finished 2-36-45-11-26-11. This incredible consistency is a result of supreme ball-striking. Hahn is currently ranked 20th in strokes gained tee-to-green and on his last start (Genesis Open) he gained 11 strokes on the field over four rounds.

If Hahn can just make a few putts, he should go well at Bay Hill, traditionally a ball-striker’s course.
