Andalucia Masters Tip: John Rahm

Desperate to put in a good show in front of home fans and he's not that short considering the lack of strength in depth.

Valderrama returns to the European Tour and after hosting the Open De Espana last year the tournament has changed date and name and is udner the old guise of the Andalucia Masters.

Given the storied history of golf in Spain and the iconic venue this is a slightly disappointing turnout with Sergio Garcia and Jon Rahm the star attractions. Both will have expectations heaped upon them but in a market where Gregory Bourdy is 8th favourite at 50/1 perhaps the obvious makes sense.

Jon Rahm struggled on the tight tree-lined fairways of the Golf Club Milano last week but he still finished in the top-20 meanign his last five starts read 3-4-5-7-15.

He’ll be desperate to perform in front of his home fans and the course should be more to his liking. In 2017 he’s won twice in 23 starts with a further 11 top-ten finishes. In this company he’s an eacy-way bet to nothing at 11/2 with Paddy Power paying 1/5 odds for at op-6 finish.
