Da Silva Going For Gold

Playing great golf tee to green; ranked in the top-five for driving accuracy and GIRs in Joburg just couldn’t buy a putt.

After a good start to the Joburg Open, Adilson Da Silva couldn’t buy a putt over the weekend. The Brazilian ranked fifth for driving accuracy and second for GIRs but 58th in putts.

Just a marginal improvement in his putting will see Da Silva shoot up the leaderboard; therefore I’m giving him a second chance in the Africa Open.

The 42-year-old finished 16th on the Sunshine Tour’s Order of Merit last year and is perfectly capable of winning at this level.

In his last three visits to East London he has finished T26-T18-T12 and with results moving in the right direction he is a cracking each-way bet at 66/1 (Betfred).
