Africa Open Tips: Maximilian Kieffer
Made five cuts in a row, playing consistent golf and a big week shouldn’t be far away.
We saw at the Joburg Open how the cream usually rises to the top in these events and therefore I’m sticking with the same plan for the Africa Open.
Maximilian Kieffer dragged himself back into contention last week but unfortunately ran out of steam on Sunday and slipped back into the pack.
His Friday/Saturday run went largely unnoticed by the bookmakers and we can get a generous 100/1 (BetVictor) on the young German.
He’s finished T26-T46-T32-T50-T32 in five starts this year and having already had two cracks at the East London course (T27 in 2013) he should go well this week.
