Abu Dhabi Championship Tips: Branden Grace
Has 8 top-10s in the desert and unlike many of his rivals already has a couple of starts under his belt in 2017.
Sat at number 17 in the world, Branden Grace is the seventh highest ranked player in Abu Dhabi and that is approximately his place in the betting but I’d argue he should be slightly shorter.
The South African is a two-time winner in nearby Qatar but his record in the desert is good everywhere bar Emirates GC. For some reasons Grace doesn’t get on with the course and it barely features on his schedule nowadays.
If you take just Abu Dhabi, Qatar and the DP World Championship, then his record becomes MC-47-6-5-6-52-52-13-9-20-1-3-5-1-27. Which simplified is 8 top-10s in 15 starts.
Having dusted off the cobwebs with two tournaments in Hawaii, his golf got progressively better by round, then we have a decent bet at 33/1 (Bet365).
