Quick Ending Or One More Twist?

Jake Quickenden is in trouble but the better bet given the prices is to predict who will survive a sing-off this week.

After a pretty dismal performance to open the show, Jake Quickenden unsurprisingly finds himself as the 6/5 (Boylesports) favourite to be next out the X Factor door on Sunday night.

But being the X Factor, it’s risky to ever assume that the public will vote for the purest of reasons. To put things bluntly, Jake played the ‘hunk card’ by stripping for Cosmopolitan this week and that could get him the votes to survive, for now, even if his voice is the thing getting really exposed.

The act that gets my attention this week instead is Lola Saunders. The fishmonger turned Stacey from Eastenders lookalike delivered a forgettable performance of ‘When You Believe’ which could see her languishing in bottom two danger.

Admittedly, the 20-year-old is unlikely to go at this stage but she might just need to be saved by the judges at 9/1 with Skybet.
