Vergne Looking For Repeat In Canada

Has struggled to go the distance this season but finished sixth in the race last year and his team mate is regularly in the points.

The title already looks a two horse race between the Mercedes drivers but there might be a bit or partisan pricing with Lewis Hamilton 4/9 (Bet365) favourite whilst Nico Rosberg is 2/1 (Bet365) despite leading the championship.

When analysing individual records at the track, Jean-Eric Vergne comes out surprising well.

It’s a track that should bring back fond memories. The French driver finished sixth last year, his highest placing in F1 and he is slightly overpriced at 7/4 (Boylesports) to finish in the top-10.

The 24-year-old has not enjoyed much luck this year, reaching the chequered flag only twice but one of those finishes was in the points.

Team mate Daniil Kvyat has coaxed his Torro Rosso into the points in half his races this year, which suggests there is enough pace in the car for Vergne to exploit.
