The Eagles' talisman is often pushed up front and has scored big goals at Chelsea and Arsenal this season.
A story that has gone largely unnoticed in the build up to the FA Cup semi-finals is that a Wembley local boy will finally fulfil his dream of playing at the national stadium.
Yannick Bolasie was an unused substitute when Palace beat Watford in the 2013 play-off final but the 26-year-old is now a pivotal member of that side.
The Congolese international lit up the Premier League with four goals in October and November before he got injured and faced a spell on the sidelines. His comeback has taken a while to hit the heights but Bolasie fired a late equaliser at the Emirates only last weekend.
That will have brought confidence flooding back and Eagles fans can be sure the winger will be relishing the space of a big Wembley pitch. From a goalscoring point of view, Pardew is even prone to playing the trickster as a centre forward and he isn’t hesitant to take on a shot.
Everything suggests that Skybet’s enhanced price of 9/1 on Bolasie scoring first in the semi-final is a real bargain at 9/1 with other firms as low as 6/1.
