16th Jun 2018 | World Cup

Dane Powers

Christian Eriksen is at the peak of his powers for club and country and could impose himself on the world's biggest tournament. A trademark free-kick or long range strike could be coming.

With all the superstars in attendance at the World Cup, one who is slipping neatly under the radar is Christian Eriksen. He certainly won’t be back home though after 16 goals in 18 matches for Denmark.

The Spurs’ star can be picked up around the 13/5 mark to find the net against Peru but let’s be brave and back him to score from outside the penalty area at enhanced odds of 6/1 with Skybet.

Long-range strikes are Eriksen’s calling card and it’s no exaggeration to say he is in the form of his life. The South Americans are unbeaten in a long time but they did concede in 16 of their 18 qualifiers so it’s not hard to see their weakness.
