Belgium v USA: USA Draw No Bet

The USA did well to come through a difficult group whereas Belgium haven’t sparkled against moderate opposition.

Belgium were widely tipped as a ‘dark horse’ for the World Cup, driven in large part by Premier League players populating their starting XI.

It seems a classic case of British press hype and I wonder if Belgium’s ‘golden generation’ will go the same way as England’s.

Having come through the easiest group in the World Cup I’m not sure if Marc Wilmots and his team will be prepared for the challenge of the USA, who have been virtually playing knockout football since the start of the tournament.

The American public have really embraced the tournament and Jurgen Klinsmann has a team operating at more than the sum of its parts.

The momentum could carry them to the quarter-finals and although it won’t be easy, USA look the better bet at 11/5 (BetVictor) in the draw no bet market.
