Value Bet Of The Day

A side unbeaten in the Championship are a strangely big price to beat opponents sat several places lower in the table.

After only one defeat from 13 games played in all competitions this season, Charlton look like the value pick of the day at best odds of 11/2 (Coral) to beat Bournemouth.

The big price is all the more inexplicable when you consider that the Addicks won their most recent away match, 1-0 against league leaders Norwich. Admittedly, they have drawn too many matches (7 in the Championship), but it doesn’t take much to turn those results into three points.

Bournemouth are 5 places below the Londoners in the table and have hardly been electrifying on their own patch lately. In September, although they beat Wigan, they also drew with Rotherham and lost 3-1 to Leeds at Dean Court.

They could suffer another home reverse this afternoon and we can cash in accordingly.
