Tottenham Can Win Crucial Derby

The early kick-off promises one of the most important north London derbies in many a year. Both teams have realistic title ambitions but need to bounce back after disappointing losses in midweek.

Much of the talk in the press has surrounded ‘bottle’ or lack of (particularly Arsenal) but mental attributes are hard to quantify so I’m sticking to data we can actually interrogate.

Tottenham are three points above Arsenal in the league, they have conceded fewer goals and scored more, they also have home advantage. It seems Mauricio Pochettino holds all the aces in that respect.

The stakes couldn’t be higher but if you remove all context from the game (difficult I know) Tottenham should be closer to even money. They aren’t and therefore we should avail of the 7/5 (Betfred) on offer.
