Toffees Should Cope with Euro Weariness

Everton are on a roll but would surely take a slender victory over Palace after playing on Thursday night.

Everton have enjoyed an excellent week after recording back-to-back victories over West Brom and then Wolfsburg in the Europa League. The bookies think they’ll stroll to another three points on Sunday (4/9 Coral) but we can improve our value considerably by taking the Toffees to win by just one goal at best odds of 13/5 with Boylesports.

Crystal Palace actually won at Goodison Park as recently as April but Tony Pulis was in charge then and the upset would be even more unlikely this time around. However, the Eagles have drawn their first two games under Neil Warnock and are unlikely to roll over and surrender.

The Merseysiders claimed 12 of their 21 wins in 2013-14 by a one-goal margin and after the exertions of playing on Thursday night, expect them to have to fight hard to keep their run going here.
