The Saturday Acca

It's a festive 50/1 shot based around four likely results this afternoon. You never know...

We have a bumper 50/1 (Bet365) acca today which might just come off with the rub of the green.

Sunderland to draw at home to West Ham (23/10):

The Hammers have shown electrifying form to steer them up to the heady heights of 4th in the table but the Stadium of Light is a tough venue for anyone now. Sunderland drew at Anfield last week and held leaders Chelsea a fortnight ago. They have drawn 9 of their 15 top flight outings and that tally could reach double figures today.

West Brom to draw at home to Aston Villa (23/10):

The Baggies stopped the rot with a 0-0 draw at Hull last weekend but that result showed that their goalscoring problems remain. They have netted once in their last 5 fixtures. Until recently, it was the same tale for Villa but Benteke’s return has inspired a revival. They have somehow won two in a row but Lambert would surely settle for a derby day point which would extend his team’s unbeaten run to six.

Sheffield Wednesday to win at home to Wolves (13/10):

Wolves have lost five in a row with the 2-1 home defeat to Bournemouth dispiriting despite an improved performance; Kenny Jackett will have a job lifting his boys after the Cherries scored twice in the final 17 minutes at Molineux. Wednesday have climbed above their visitors after two consecutive victories, the most recent being a fine 2-1 success at Ewood Park.

Watford to win at home to Wigan (21/20):

The Hornets are a funny lot. Changing manager all the time, they ended a run of four straight defeats with a 5-0 away victory at Fulham last weekend! Confidence restored, they should have far too much for the beleaguered Latics who are 23rd in the table and winless in 6 outings.
