The Pulis Effect

The Baggies have kept 14 clean sheets since January but are now the top flight's lowest scorers. Everton's last 2 on the road ended 0-0.

Sky Sports can probably build up the prospect of a close game but not a high scoring encounter for their Monday night offering.

Everton are unbeaten on the road and they have drawn their last two away league matches 0-0, at Spurs and Swansea. The Toffees will be desperately hoping John Stones and Seamus Coleman pass late fitness tests.

Interestingly, West Brom have kept the most clean sheets in the top flight since January (14). That’s when Tony Pulis arrived, and it’s what he does.

The problem is that the Baggies are currently the lowest scorers in the division after Newcastle bagged a couple on Saturday afternoon.

WBA’s last three league fixtures have produced under 1.5 goals and we should move before the market does by backing a further repeat here.
