Fulham (6/5) to beat Norwich at home:

An absolutely massive game at the bottom of the Premier League where 17th face 18th. All that separates them is five points and a dreaded dotted line. Norwich have arguably pressed the panic button by sacking Hughton and replacing him with a novice. Neil Adams will do well to stop a run of six straight away defeats. Fulham have already beaten the Canaries twice this term and have fresh hope after their win at Villa Park.

Stoke (23/20) to beat Newcastle at home:

The Potters might yet catch the Magpies by the end of the season if this one goes to form. Stoke have the 6th best home record in the division (W8 D6 L2) while Newcastle have lost three on the bounce to a combined score of 11-0. The Toon haven’t handled the departure of Cabaye and Remy’s injury has contributed to a wretched run of failing to score in 11 of their last 15 league outings.

Everton (4/5) to beat Sunderland away:

The Toffees have won six top flight fixtures in a row and will move above Arsenal (playing in the FA Cup) with anything but a defeat here. It’s hard to imagine they won’t take three points against a Sunderland side who many felt threw in the towel in the 5-1 debacle at Spurs on Monday. That made it six losses and a draw for the Black Cats in the last seven.

Crystal Palace (23/20) to beat Aston Villa at home:

The Eagles have won six of their last ten at Selhurst Park with the other teams around them in the table almost all coming a cropper when they have headed to south London. Villa fall into that category, tied as they are with Palace on points, but their form is poor. Three consecutive defeats have included a pair of 4-1 thrashings and a home defeat to Fulham. Pulis’s boys won the reverse fixture on Boxing Day.

Burnley (10/11) to beat Middlesbrough at home:

Burnley are almost ready to officially celebrate the return of Premier League football to Turf Moor and three points on Saturday could secure it. The doubters will say that Boro are arriving to spoil the party after three straight wins but only one of those was away and they are generally poor on the road (W4 D7 L9). The Clarets have been rather better on their own patch (W13 D6 L1) and should be roared over the line.

Ipswich (4/6) to beat Doncaster at home:

Town are one of the cluster of sides still battling it out for a Championship play-off berth and they might enter the top six with a handsome victory on Saturday. The Tractor Boys had an important win in midweek at Huddersfield and are generally doing the business at Portman Road lately (W4 D2 L1). Doncaster have just lost consecutive home matches and already have the worst away record in the division (W2 D6 L12).
